Tenancy Deposit

Landlords must follow certain procedures when it comes to receiving and returning a tenant’s deposit. If you rent your property on an assured shorthold tenancy that started after 6 April 2007 then your landlord should have put your deposit in a government approved Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS)
If you know or suspect your deposit was not placed into one of these schemes then you may be able to claim compensation of up to 3 times the deposit amount paid. Our team will assess the potential of your claim and pursue the same on your behalf on a “no win no fee” basis.
